Kara Louise is always a lovely one and mine has put up instant rebloom scapes which is good. White Tooth X Skater 2R is my faorite of them all. Spacecoast Night Vision x Razor Sharp is very pretty and I find that here many od them are bitones..I don't know why. Nice post, debra.

Kara Louise is my favorite of your named daylilies. Several of your seedlings are interesting to me. Top for me is the Stinger seedling, with the Sweet Prarie Wind next. Very nice.

It will be interesting to see what Ethel Buccola does here this year. For the first few years, it was wonderful. Then the last two years it had short scapes and low bud count. If the same this year, it is history. Is your Kara Louise sometimes splotchy like Kate's?

Looks like Gypsy Cats baby is performing well, alot of scapes. I will be keeping my eye on your Spacecoast /Razor baby, its fun to see what each day brings.

Spacecoast Night Vision x is looking fetching with the small white edging. Interesting guess about the effects of the Deer Repellent on the sepals. Not a bad look either way.......I like the Gypsy Cats Baby trio. Simplicity of form is attractive......... Ethel Bucolla is a color that I've grown fond of recently. Sort of a cantaloupe orange............We are getting rain over night too for this week. I had to run around trying to protect some of my opening buds. Next week some 90- 95 degree temperatures are forecast. Rats................Maryl

Wow, wow, wow. All of them look good even with the "splotches". All them have such vibrant color. Lots of the buds on Gypsy Cats baby. I like the eye on Ethel Bucolia.

The Kara Louise bloom looks good! I finally had some nice blooms this week, probably due to more heat but less humidity for a couple of days. The seedlings are all pretty but sometjing about the Sweet Prairie Wind calls to me. I like the unusual color on it, too too.

Mantis - Kara Louise has not been splotchy for me. Perhaps where its planted protects it from the dew. Ethel Buccola was fabulous in it first three years here, but it's in the grub zone and gets zapped every year, so scapes are short and buds are lacking. I like it though, so I'm going to move it this year to give it one more chance.

Julia, Maryl and Sherry - The Gypsy Cats seedling has far fewer buds this year. Last year it had some scapes with 19 and 21 buds. It multiplies like crazy though. I have 19 scapes of it now. I don't anticipate ever registering it. But because it has toothy parents, I use it for hybridizing. The parent, Gypsy Cats, is a reluctant pod setter, but the kid is a pod hussy. Two of its kids have bloomed so far. One has a few teeth and the other none. But both of those kids have gorgeous color.

Nancy - The Stinger seedling looked awful on the first bloom, which could barely open and had only a few teeth. What a change the temperature made! I hope subsequent blooms will be even better.

Kay - The White Tooth seedling is my favorite of the ones posted today too. I look forward to seeing what it could do in a year with plentiful Spring rain.
