Unless it is Wedding Dancer!! Got this as a bonus last year. This is FFO and so similar to VF. This is so much whiter than database pics.

You have some long walks through those daylily beds! It looks like a commercial sales garden - glorious! My favorite of the multiples are Windyhill Dark Secret and Ruffled Perfection. There are so many nice single blooms, it's hard to pick just one. I will say Lacey Lavender and Voila Francois are the ones I kept scrolling back to view. Lovely view you have of your daylilies. Do you deadhead all those blooms every morning? I imagine not..........I grew Spirit Fox many years ago. Amazingly enough for a Canadian hybrid, after a couple of years it died over winter. Not pot happy apparently......I liked Forest god last year when you posted and again this year and that shot of Ruffled Perfection is just that- Perfection. Both of those are right up my alley. They call to me......Here was my Spirit Fox from yesteryear:

Hahaha!!! I should have included some other ”walk” areas. Maybe next time! With so much blooming it takes an hour and a half just walking it all and taking what pictures I want-after that I walk it again-not as time consuming as I am just enjoying and not photographing.

Maryl, I do not get them all deadheaded. I deadhead those I am photographing and deadhead any that will impede other unopened blooms. I love your picture of Spirit Fox-it is an in your face color.

Brad, my new beds are easier to maintain with my cardboard/leaf method. Maybe one day I will post the making of those beds in pictures. That leaves the other beds to get under control in spring-and honestly that does not always happen. I do it alone as hubby likes the finished product but not the journey to get there!!

Debra, VF has thst very subtle soft pink overlay that I like-barely discernible. Wedding Dancer is not showing the green in its description.

Your beds look so beautiful, so soothing. Windchill is my very favorite! Just the perfect color! Forest God looks like another possibility for replacement for Aztec Beauty.

Windyhill Dark Secret is an eye catcher and I can certainly see why you like the delicate Lacey Lavender, both Voila Francois and Wedding Dancer are true beauties but I always enjoy the garden shot so much. What a glorious walk! So mamy pretty daylilies but Strawberry Smoothie and Forest God are my favorites today. If I had room for more beds I would definitely try your lasagna method……I dont see any weeds ; )

What a beautiful garden! You show so many lovely daylilies it's hard to pick a favorite. I like the shape and green throat of Angel in Oz. I also like Windyhill Dark Secret.

Love the garden shots. If I had that much land to play with, I am sure my wife would divorce me or at least bury me in the garden. I would be playing out there all day.

Lacey Lavender is considered an "old" cultivar? It's 2012. Looks as though you have a lot to explore each morning. Always exciting to see new blooms. Works for Me is fairly early here, but I thought you were further along in the season. I don't see any deer damage.

Nancy-Forest God is so unique-I do like it!!

Kay-I hope your Spirit Fox blooms for you. I know how you love those vibrant oranges.

Mantis, of course you are correct about Lacey Lavender. It is next door to Lavender Dew which had a gorgeous bloom also. I debated on which to post and went with LL but with Lavender Dew commentary! Thanks for pointing that out-no, I do not consider 2012 an oldie!!!
