No. If you wanted specific colors, is there a reason you got a mix?

It was on sale. 50 jumbo for $50. I wasn't looking for a specific color. I just want them to be homogenized. I don't want to plant a lot of the same color together.

I didn't think you could tell the color, but thought there might be an expert way that I wasn't aware of.

get a number of glass bulb jars... and grow a dozen or so .. in water .. take copious notes.. and report back ...

you rarely learn much by not trying something new ...

Ken, your idea wouldn't work for caladium corms, which aren't true bulbs by any stretch of the imagination.

You could pot each tuber up individually and then sprout them before planting out.

I would never confess to doing this because 50 pots of sprouting caladiums on your driveway for four weeks is ridiculous, but it would work (in theory of course)

Too late to do anything. I planted them. As many as I could. I have a few leftovers to fill in spots that didn't grow well.
