OK, so I'm watching Netflix programs and seeing a trend. The cool characters have homes with dark walls, original art, designer fabrics on the furniture and for the draperies. And the losers, criminals, and creeps have homes with beige walls! Ee-gads! What does this mean?

So...Criminal Minds... In this episode, the victims' home is painted some shade of white! The station of the inexperienced local police is painted mustard! Argh!

I've been watching "Stranger Things" with my kids and while I suspect most of the wallpapers and paint colors are just what the set designers could find to evoke an era (so no real relevance to bad guys vs good guys), I've liked way too much of it.
