Monday's blooms

It's horribly hot here and will get even hotter this week. The state inspector will be coming tomorrow (we are a state inspected garden) so we must do a little clean-up tonight. I'm not looking forward to it.

Matthew Kaskel had its ffo today.

It was a good day in the seedling beds. Here is a highlight of what's happening.

Some small diploids are making up happy. These are both Stella's Ruffled Fingers X Indelible Blood. We are happy that we are getting a range of nice colors.

This striped seedling made us happy. We wish there was a great contrast between the two colors but are happy that the petals are quite broad. This is Pink Stripes X Perfect Pose.

These orange daylilies with black eyes are also making us happy.

Matthew Kaskel is beautiful orange! Mema's Simone is cute. The seedling I like best is the second Heavenly Bengal Tiger seedling. Great contrast of colors!

The Heavenly Bengal Tiger crosses look promising. The parent here has not been stellar so far.
