They look to be spider egg sacs but insects of Florida is not my forte. You might want to edit your post to add the Insects forum.

If you contact the the University of FL's entemology dept with your photo, they can identify t for you. I did that some years back and got a prompt, helpful reply.

I just want to know if these are beneficials or nuisances. So far I've been treating them like nuisances and removing the affected leaves, but if they are good ones then I'll leave them be.

Plants do not seem damaged at all, so I'm guessing it may be something benign, or even beneficial. I've seen similar and agree it may be egg sacs of a spider.
