1st bloom ever on this seedling, decent height, about 7", and just a little splotchy. Not a lot of buds, looks like 8, but the single fan looks rather small. Still erect after our heavy winds and storm with little to no rain

Your reds look good today. Nice clump of Thin Man. My Mississippi Blues has never looked that good-it is in shade-I need to move it. How pretty Eyes That See is and so is that seedling!!

Thin Man is my favorite of your reds. I like the lighter edges and the midribs on it. Jag is pretty. Is that a new one for you? I love the clump of Mississippi Blues, and the toothy seedling looks like a winner.

Kate, my Mississippi Blues never did anything til I moved it to a but of shade. I think maybe it is more a case of soil than shade, but I don't know. I keep thinking to downsize Eyes That See out, but it is a large, pretty flower, blooms well. Can't do it.

Debra, Jag is new. It is one of those Pierce daylilies. 1st time it has bloomed, bloom is 6 1/2" like it is supposed to be, but a bit shorter. Not bad, 28" vs the 35" it is supposed to be. It has a very pretty face though.

You weren't kidding when you said that Thin Man and Spiderman had made a striking display. Did String Theory come from Celeste? Wondering about its northern performance.
