Which size BEE door knocker for my front door?

My 6-panel, window-less front door measures 35 inches wide by 79 inches tall. I want to install a Michael Healy BEE door knocker and can't decide on the size door knocker. One measures 3.25 inches by 3.25 inches; the other measures 4.25 inches by 4.25 inches. Should I go small or big?

The door will be stained; the bee will be black. Thanks in advance!

Cut out a 3.25" circle and a 4.25" circle and tape to the door (not at the same time). Take pictures and post them here. Also, leave each one on for a few days to see what you like best.

If you scroll through the pics on this site, you will see a visual of the smaller vs the premium bee knocker. I prefer the subtlety and whimsy of the smaller bee, but it really comes down to preference.

Those door knockers are wonderful! I see a dragonfly in my future. I agree that the smaller one would look great with a "typical" sized door. I'd love if you shared a photo when you have it up.
