I agree with Vaporvac! What a fabulous rose!

It’s so hard to find a rose that actually climbs here, so I’m loving the way it looks on the obelisk. It competely buried another rose in there. I put Abigail Adams next to the obelisk, she gets huge, I was surprised how well she’s done in the cold. If you need a wide shrub, Abigail’s your girl!

I looked at photos from a Danish rose group on Facebook (since Poulsen is Danish, lots of people here grow their roses). I would say that it looks like the correct rose, but details like thorns and leaves matter, of course. The group is "Roser" on fb, if you want to ask people there :)

It's a private group, so you may have to narrow the search terms geographically to get a result. Its purpose is only roses and members are encouraged to use the search function before asking. I'm sure English speakers are welcome 😊 In general Danish climate zones are 6b to 8b. Mild summers and winters, compared to Chicago, I think.
