What does the contract state? Is this new siding or repainting existing?

This is new siding. The contract is with the GC and doesn’t really go into detail about the painting unfortunately.

What did the GC say about the level of quality? Do all the joints look the same?

How many seams are there? Is it all of them, or just a few of them that aren't up to you expectations?

There are many like this. GC has been away. Painter just left and he said he would caulk the open seams. Is that the way to remedy this?
