Hello!

We are in the process of major interior and exterior remodel. We had a design rendering done by Brick and Batten and have use the roof color and exterior paint color they recommended. We are also planning on replacing the gutters to dark bronze as they recommended. They recommended the soffits/fascia/freeze boards be painted the same BM seapearl as the brick. We have just been told we need to replace the soffits to get better venting and my husband is not keen on painting it as he’s worried about it clogging the ventilation as well as upkeep. I can’t find a color that matches exactly to our brick color - white is too white, linen is too cream, the champagne is too pink 😭 I’m kind of liking the color we currently have best as it ties in with the windows but I’m not sure if this would look ok with the dark bronze gutters. Do soffits have to match gutters? I’m also struggling with my cedar posts. Brick and Batten did not give a recommendation on this and I feel the color I chose stained way darker than I wanted. I’m not sure if it will look better with dark bronze gutters or if I should re-stain or paint them a lighter color. Any help or advise anyone can offer would be much appreciated! I feel like I like most of the house except the front door area. The front door will also be replaced and I’m stumped on color for that too and have major decision fatigue.
