What is the final plan for the space once the kiddies grow up? I would do a nice ceiling flush mount for good lighting and I see no reason for a chandelier as the space is being used now.This is from Wayfair and sloped ceiling adaptable. Or get an electrician and install some pot lights I think you need to decide what the room will be used for later. it seems very small

adjustable wall sconce might be fun. otherwise like above to just light the room. or track lighting.

yes there are modern ones, I would not waste the time calling attention to it, and rather just go with white.
