i dont know if they will survive as houseplants.. many are full sun plants.. and wont be happy in the house.. unless under a sun replacement like lights ...

after they are fully rooted.. you can pinch back a singe vine.. causing multiple dormant lateral buds to come active ... usually 2 or 3 ... and then in 6 weeks do it again on those.. etc ..

same process as used on mums.. so they flower in fall.. as well as turn into those mounds we all seem to love ... else. they would just grow as a single stem.. have one flower.. and bloom in late summer... go figure.. the same pruning process ...

anyway.. have fun doing it.. one thing for sure. you will learn something.. even if its what you shouldnt do.. lol.. been there... now go think about having these very aggressive vines covering your entire living room.. should you be successful ... hmmmm

ps: also.. depending where youa re... i might wonder if they will tolerate the lack of humidity is your furnace blasts all winter long ...
