Monday's blooms

Two more daylilies opened. Much cooler here this morning as we were in the high 50's. Will be an outside day to do some weeding as I'm seeing a lot of seedlings popping up. Tomorrow will bring 90's back and storms predicted in the late afternoon.

BOB MARLEY - started blooming 2 days ago and I love the color on this one. I was up early and got a pic of its FFO early. Thank you Kay.

This morning Bob Marley shows a bit different in sun. It is such an eye catcher in the garden.

ALLEGHENY SKYLINE - has put up 9 scapes this year and opened with a nice FFO. This clump will be divided in the fall. It is huge. I couldn't get all the scapes in one photo. I do notice some bumps on the unopened buds. Not sure if bug issues or just the way it is. I got this from Debra when I lived in NY a couple of years ago.

And now for a couple of repeats

BOUNDLESS BEAUTY continues to open some beautful ruffles. For a newbie to the garden this season, it has done very good. One issue I noticed when we had the rain was she "melts". I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this. I'm wondering if this is a trait that would pass to siblings if I did crosses with it. Thoughts?

EARTH AND ALL STARS with ISLE OF PATMOS - every day these two continue to open multiple blooms. Hard to see EAAS with the sun on it but it and IOP never fail to be open even on the cooler mornings.

Still a couple of other daylilies to do their ffo's.

Have a great Monday.

Julia
