When I was a new Floridian, this site was a daily must-read. There were a number of posts about lubbers. I'd never heard of them but was happy that they weren't in my garden. My "happy" is now past tense. I have a young jatropha integerrima in front of my home office window and have captured 5 of the beasties munching on it in the past 3 days. My DH knows that when I jump up and head out with a plastic bag and "capture cup" in hand, I've spied another.
