What wonderful rebloom you're getting in a year with not much rain! Sweet Serenity is very pretty with those blue colors and multiple blooms. Is Isabelle Rose reblooming for you? It's not even registered as a rebloomer. How amazing that Larry's Obsession has 11 rebloom scapes and Voila Francois is on its second rebloom cycle? To what do you attribute all this rebloom?

Debra, yes Isabelle Rose is reblooming. And yes, VF is on second rebloom cycle-last year I had 3 bloom cycles on it. And I have no clue why so many are reblooming!! Many are in the roadside bed that gets zero pampering as in no water. I am glad to see some color on these triple digit days!!

They are looking great. Merlot on My Mind is a pretty and so are Orange Blossom Trail and Pick Up Lines and Sweet Serenity- too. I keep saying they are going to quit them I find another one with a scape or scapes. But I had rain last week, twice,

Nice post Kate. I'm going to go and lookup a couple of these. For being dry you still have lovely pics and a lot of rebloom. I really like the color on Orange Blossom Trail.

Edit: Forgot to mention Evidence Of Aliens. I loved it for its wind blown look in the NY garden. Unsual but that is what is unique.

I'm glad I checked in on this thread again. You added more photos since I first saw it. Pick Up Lines looks great! Evidence of Aliens is probably my least favorite form too.

Wow! So much pretty rebloom and little rain! I am so jealous! I like that form of Evidence of Aliens, maybe because I don't have any.

I like the color and form in your picture of Orange Blossom Trail. Is that a Trimmer?.........Another favorite is Merlot on My Mind. Not a UF fan as you know, but like the pattern on it in your picture............I had a rebloom scape pop up on one I'd never had rebloom before. It met the high heat and promptly aborted. So much lovely rebloom in your gardens! Remembering all of the photos you posted this season its hard to remember how dry it has been for you. I am so displeased with what the heat and dryness has done here….. there will be more culling of plants here….only the true performers will remain here.

Julia, this is the best bloom on Evidence of Aliens this year. I think the heat got to it as it is a late bloomer here. So many of the blooms were split, broken, or just generally wonky.

Debra, I love Pick Up LInes! I don't think it had a bad bloom this year in spite of the weather conditions.

Maryl, yes, Orange Blossom Trail is a Trimmer. I forgot to mention it when we were discussing this color. (And Prickly Sensation which is a workhorse here with multiple rebloom seasons). Merlot on My Mind is new this year but has performed well.

Sherry, you are tougher than I am in culling. I have the fault of giving them way too many chances. I am better able to do that since I have the space to be generous. If not, I would need to be ruthless! This weather this year has been brutal in so many ways: Bud drop, smaller blooms, withered buds, and really messed up bloom times with lates blooming early and mids blooming late. And then, I get surprised by massive rebloom as has Kay. Go figure!
