You are having a spectacular daylily season, but then you've had plenty of rain this year. Blushing Escapade is a pretty pink. I'm drawn to Minnesota Nice, Victorian Garden Starbright and Mama Drama. They all look terrific though!

Fantastic clump of Mama Drama! I like Chico Tim and Gary Bewcyk too. I have Lotus Position. I like the flower but it does not bloom much, and blooms don't always look good. I may try moving it again, but tempted to just replace it with Pink Panther Paws. PPP looks like it is doing good for you.

So mant great blooms! I love the simplicity of Blushing Escapade, I find myself tiring a bit of the more elaborate blooms. Victorian Lace is a lovely white, such a great edge. Stolen Treasure………growing like a weed sounds mighty fine this season!

What a gorgeous post, Mantis! Mama Drama and Red Headed Hussies are blooming so well. Joe Burrow loos to be a huge bloom. Garry Bewcyk is lovely. Pink Panther Paws is a stunny beauty. Minnesota Nice is blooming hugely and looks so good. Mineral Springs is a beautiful color and has a nice edge. Stolen Treasure is a pretty rosy pink and so nice to have a good grower. You've outdone yourself, Mantis. So many lovely booms!

I do like the pink on Blushing Escapade and am enjoying a great rebloom of 9 scapes on mine. I almost ordered Joe Burrow last year-appreciated the story behind it. Is yours tall now? The color on it is so pretty. Mineral Springs is also a striking color. All the clump shots are impressive. Aren’t you glad to have this kind of season???!!

Blushing Escapade usually has rebloom here too. Joe Burrow was just planted in late spring. It is at the estate. I suggested to the owner that he order it since he probably donates to the food bank anyway and there would be a tax deduction. He then proceeded to order five of them. The bloom exceeds my expectations in that I like the green throat, but I cannot comment much on performance yet. (I informed Ashwood of the estate's interest, but I myself never got a response--like, "thanks for making this connection.") That was just a couple of weeks after Jan's death; it takes a long time to recover.

Lots of beauties here. I really like Blushing Escapade. We saw it at Richard's a couple of years ago, but in the interest of downsizing the garden, I passed on purchasing it. I also like Garry Bewyck and Joe Burrow. Our Joe Burrow was planted last fall. I am not wild about fall planting in our area. It made it through the winter, but it will be awhile before it shows what it can do.

Blushing Escapade is my number one pick because of the shade of pink it is. Looks like a true pink to me in your picture. I'd be interested to hear how it holds up if you have heat coming. Another pale pink by PM?........I wasn't familiar with Mineral Springs either, so I looked it up on the database. The pictures of the color are all over the place. I like your lavender color the best..........Have always liked the form/color on the Goldilocks Effect. Nice one for you............Maryl

Maryl, for three days we have been pummeled with rain, really hard-driving in the last 24 hours. I'm afraid that July is not being normal; it is the rainiest month, but this is ridiculous. I don't recall Blushing to be heat sensitive, but we have nothing compared with your searing type of heat. This year, we have missed partly cloudy days--either rain or all sun.

Maryl, I'm so glad you inquired about MAGNETIC Springs, not MINERAL. as I mistakenly labeled. I don't think it likes a lot of sun.

Good to know Mantis on Magnetic Springs.......I just re-read that Kate has Blushing Escapade so I'll check with her as far as sun/heat tolerance......This is a beautiful posting btw.............Maryl

These are fantastic! You really hit my sweet spot! Blushing Escapade, Mn Nice, Magnetic Springs, and Victoria Gardens Star Bright [edit: add Future of Desire to the list!!] are especially gorgeous!
