It is not fragrant. he didnt say the heritage. he said it is sterile but has a fertile sibling.

i believe shinya has access to alot of wild seedlings in japan.

so its probably from a hybrid we dont know.

I tore into a bud to see what was going on.

it has deformed organs so it is sterile.

a few stamen develop so a small amount of pollen.

mostly i find flower form follows the pod.

too bad cause i want to see it in purple

The bit of pollen you did find, can you use it for another purpose? The flower would be gorgeous in purple, but already beautiful as I said.

i dabbed it on a few. it would have to be very dominant to overcome the form of the pod donor
