The Stucco wrap is designed to be place on the wall before the stucco is applied.

As I understand your question, the box will be placed in front of the building wall. Any time you place something against a building there should be room for circulation between the building and the box. Other wise you will get molds growing on the surface.

So in my opinion the wrap of the box is not necessary.

@krnuttle Actually it is the opposite: if you leave too much space between the back wall of the raised bed and the stucco, organic debris will accumulate. That holds water and then rots out both the box and the stucco. The stucco itself has channels to drain water, and a house wrap paper on the back side of the raised bed helps to keep water flowing over its surface. It's probably unnecessary, but it probably also does not hurt.
