Hi there! The owners wrap the mattress in the winter so it does not get wet. It is also light enough to bring indoors off-season (this is a seasonal house).

Weather all year round in Maine! A nice thick tarp/cover should work well - you can always put a waterproof mattress pad on as well if you are not on-site to cover when rain rolls in.
