Im able to search haworthia under this forum using ipad.

What happens when you try?

Shana -- I have experienced exactly the same situation you described, although I am using a desktop iMac. For me, the line/box that used to say something like "Search for..." is GONE. I used to use it regularly and miss it. But Houzz does not seem to consider the old GardenWeb or any of these forums worth putting resources into. I miss the search capability here very much.

There is a lot of valuable information in the garden forums, accumulated over many years by so many.

Facebook does not offer a whole lot.

It's sad that Houzz might not value or see fit what they had here or what it could be, still. Much information here I could find nowhere else.

If you enter the site via GardenWeb - https://www.gardenweb.com - then ALL the gardening forums are searchable. You just need to be searching in the forum you believe the info is posted to.

Here's one I just did on Sansevieria propagation: https://www.houzz.com/discussions/sansevieria/query/sansevieria-propagation/nqrw

And here's one for Haworthia searched under the Cacti and Succulents forum: https://www.gardenweb.com/discussions/cacti/query/haworthia/nqrw

The information is all still here, going back several decades. You just need to be a little bit creative in how you look for it :-)

That does seem to be "the trick." Searching Houzz won't work. The problem is that after you click on this or that, you'll notice you've gotten onto Houzz again.

UPDATE: Again, thank you. I've been enterting through the old GardenWeb link you posted for a day or two now, that INCLUDES a search option -- and have had some great enjoyment going back and researching things from Garden Web, from maybe 8 years go till now. LOTS EASIER to find what I'm looking for!
