Old Port. Had to look this one up, it’s an old McGredy rose. This spray attracted much attention. After the show, I snagged a plant from Rogue Valley

Thanks Carol and Berrypie, they are all other folks’ roses , mine are too young and I’m not much of an exhibitor anyway. I’m just there to look , chat, and see what I might need to plant in my garden.

Sounds like a great time Ben. Your favorite Madame Isaac bloom looks like a dead ringer for Paul Neyron. Guess I won't have to buy another look alike, I always wanted M Isaac but Paul is nearly thornless, better for me.

I have Daybreaker and I hightly recommend it. It never stops blooming.

Do you happen to know the name of the one pictured (maybe a Polyantha?) that has the white cupped blooms tinged with pink/red edges? It's gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing!

Primping and transporting a rose in perfect condition is too much work, but I sure appreciate it when others do it.

I think the second word of the name is ____ Pearls? (But I'm not sure.) Or, it may be ____ Dreams?

I think the rose in question is Carding Mill. I agree this spray is very pastel for the variety, but I think is looks better this way!

Thanks, BenT!! I think I misled you, I meant a different grouping of roses - it's hard to describe - oh and also, Carding Mill rose is gorgeous too!! -- the pic I meant is the last of a group of 7 photos, and the first one is a large spray of cream with a red edge.

They are all inspiring though - what a wonderful event it must have been! Thanks again.
