I m a new gardener. I just bought this house last year in spring. When I bought there were very few small blooms on these hydrangeas but the year they grew like crazy. I never did anything to them.
I m trying to learn how to take care of them this year so I fertilized and cut the old wood that died off winter. Now these blossoms are close to to be spent and I don’t know when is the right time to deadhead these guys. I’m constantly learning on YouTube but it’s so much info. Please let me know so I dead head them for bigger blossom now? If I do? How do I dead head them and how far? Will they bloom again this summer by late august or they are done for the year.
