You've posted a lot of what appear to be new ones this year. I was not familiar with Scarlet Marie; described as a glowing color. Frieda Allen Jerrell has finally settled in here and had some beautiful blooms next to neighbor Morning Mood (in the same color range). Outer Limits has scape height problems? Some have complained of occasional splotchiness.

Alpha and Omega is a good grower, but some have complained of its shortness. It has been quite clean here this year, though I just said that of Soli Deo Gloria, and today two blooms were marred. Not that others don't have issues. Keep us posted on Drum Boogie. Nice colors, though don't know if the opening is typical. VT Starbright is the best here that I have ever seen it.

I've had SCARLET MARIE for several years. It was a gift plant with an order. It doubles 100% of the time and all of the blooms look like the picture I posted. I am not a fan of doubles, but I do like this one. I rarely add a double to the collection. I did add TOPGUNS LAVENDER LACE last year. I like the bicolor look of that one. I usually scroll past posting of doubles and I don't look at hybridizers who on work with doubles. OUTER LIMITS, so far appears to be rather short. If it does not improve next year, it will be leaving the garden. This is the third year in this location and it can't get any better than this spot.

I will post other pictures of DRUM BOOGIE as I get them. It is a rapid increaser. It was a double fan last fall and I now have 6 fans. I like that rate of increase.

Alpha and Omega is a lovely thing. Vertical Horizon and Ladies Night Out look good together and both are very pretty. Is that lovely ruffled wine one VG Star Bright? It looks more like Jubilee Ball than the other one does. Just me I guess. Persian Ruby is pretty and I always like to see Forsyth Garret Mason. Pretty post, David, but can't match the Bennett post.; but not a lot does.

I've always liked Fiordilig in your climate where you can get lovely shades of lavender. I think the name is Scandinavian or some such, and if I were to own it, I'd have a heck of a time spelling it more then once............I grew Scarlet Marie for many years. It was a dependable and pretty daylily that received lots of compliments early in the day. It went home with an admirer who didn't mind the way it faded a bit in the afternoon heat..........It's 108 right now (and NO rainfall since early June), so the cool colors of Malcolm David Brooker Sr look refreshing as well as Forestlake Ragamuffin.....My favorite is your dark purple Ladies Night Out by Norris. I wonder if anyone else grows it? It certainly is a stunner in your picture and Norris did create my beloved Mary's Baby which holds up rather well in our normal summer heat. My antennae went up on that one.........Maryl

MARY'S BABY is an awesome purple and holds up reasonably well. I will run outside and take its picture.
