I like Maryl's description of Ultimate Illusion, I think she nailed it. I like that one too. I agree about Careless Dream too. It seems as if I really notice the form of polychromes and yellow daylilies more than other colors. Not a real fan of yellows, but for is what attracts me. I don't notice Heartbeat of Heaven looking bad later in the day, but mine is in shade by afternoon. Last year every bloom had a murky look on it though I did not like. This year they were nice. Wonder what would cause that.

I will have to post the picture of HEARTBEAT OF HEAVEN later this evening. I don't know why it did not post.

I agree that Heartbeat of Heaven is a bad fader. It's more like Heartbeat of Hell here, and is going bye bye soon. Careless Dream and Harpers Bazaar are my favorites.

I am always wary when I see Heartheat as a parent, since it does have some less desirable characteristics. I assume that Careless Dream continues to be a favorite of David's.

David, I like Harper's and of course Indian Giver. It makes a great parent for me. It seems to have the dominant genes so I have a few that are well budded but much taller and very similar to it. Ultimate Illusion is quite unique!
