Congrats on your new home. I don’t think bringing in more soil is going to accomplish what you want it to, and, like you mention, might result in a slope/grading issue for your yard. If it were me I would look at the many stone veneer options that are around these days and apply that from ground level up to your siding— maybe a stacked fieldstone look? I would then look to doing an interesting landscape design and potentially incorporate some stones/mini retaining walls that echo the stone veneer used on your foundation— this combination will really help to “ground” your new home to its site.

If I were to add soil anywhere, I would possibly to do to the left of your front door. This might seem counterintuitive, but accentuating a change in grade might help with making the front door/porch area more of a focal point. This could also create an opportunity for the aforementioned small retaining wall feature of sorts, with nice plantings to ground the home in its landscape and boost curb appeal.

Foundation waterproofing should have been lower and shouldn't be exposed. Before they build your decks and stairs they should have graded the lot properly. Basement windows should have been wider and taller which would offset the amount of exposed foundation (I would consider doing that).

You can easily remove the 2 lower steps, and do a nice retaining wall with a walkway and some landscaping adjust the existing grading around it with more topsoil and grass a few trees and shrubs and you will have a beautiful front elevation.

Your house is more than three feet higher than it should be given the existing grade. It's not like you're at the bottom of a hill, judging from the homes to the rear.

Invest in a qualified landscape designer for the retaining wall and landscaping.

Paint the foundation to match the house and plant shrubs in front of it.
