I don't think you can make your house exterior look mid-century because structurally it's not close, and that's really the bones of your house exterior. Budget decision and research are your first steps. Consider the overall look, ie: color, entrance, window style, structural additions, landscaping. Speak to a reliable contractor to see what is possible/costs. (Presently there are lots of supply delays and costs have increased substantially.) Without knowing what you had in mind budget wise, here are some options: Color, vertical siding, front door and entrance, landscaping and last picture‘s idea for the side of your house.

I agree to choose some MCM elements can help but this is not now or ever will be a MCM home without a huge renovation. Can you take a better picture of the actual entry side of the house ?Do you need both entry doors? That curvy trim piece has to go for sure so maybe start there . No shutter ever on any MCM house I like the first pic that Maureen posted to act as inspiration but we need mor einfo. I need to see that side of the house much further back to get some idea of how it relates to your lot.

I love the awning/roof over the door idea.

We do not need both doors, Patricia. My initial idea is to do something different on the street facing side w the windows. Something like what I attached- and putting a door there- and closing up the door with the silly awning- and building a low profile deck- or those large pavers you suggested, Maureen.

MCM should have vertical siding, yes? I’m very drawn to the peppercorn color.
