The last pic is a close-up of the design of the bottom of the table

I don't think it is an antique, but you might call it vintage. Rococo in style and it may have had a marble top, not glass.

The carvings look Mediterranean in shapes and textures. I tried matching it with one of my apps but nothing came close. It almost looks Middle Eastern. How high is it?

It would enhance the unusual features to add a glass top if you’re using this in your home. What are your plans for it? It’s rather amazing - a real conversation piece!

Please post measurements... and material...is it wood or metal? are those insets of stone or marble around the edge of the top? Remember there never was an antique coffee table. and a picture of the bottom ( upside down) would help.

To me this looks like a 1960s-1970s Italian Renaissance Revival style coffee table in the Hollywood Regency type esthetic. There is probably a fair amount of molded wood composite and maybe some plastic used in construction.
