steam Shower light - HELP!

Do you need a special steam shower light or can a water rated one work just fine. My builder insists that they do steam showers all the time. When I questioned about lighting he gave me the following g explanation:

“They use a shower can housing at rough that creates a tight seal when the concrete board is applied over the rim and you make sure that’s sealed in.

Then the trim has a gasket that forms another seal between the trim and can housing. That completes the barrier.

It’s standard, they’ve installed many steam shower lights this way. “

I asked if it is screwed in and he said no that it’s sealed with “pressure” when the trim is attached to the housing.

I’m super frustrated and can’t find a solid answer anywhere. The main issue at this point is that the thermosal marketed steam shower lights (https://thermasol.com/products/accessories/shower-lights) are shipping 6 weeks out and my builder is telling me he needs it sooner. Builder is making it sound like this is just overkill and the standard shower light will work fine based on the install above.
