The shutters and front doors clash with the rest of the exterior house colors.

Also, we started to pull out overgrown shrubs from the front of the house, under the windows.

Needing a plan, this is a before (current) picture of what it looks like, and then a picture that I modified to show what I'm thinking of doing:

1) pull out all front shrubs and re-grade with some type of stone

2) paint shutters and doors a very dark grey-green (like SW Rock Bottom) to coordinate the weathered wood shingled roof with the green metal roof

3) maybe put in a couple tall potted plants framing the front door

Any thoughts before we get started?
