The pros and enthusiasts aren't going to answer you without more detail. What's your style etc. Need specific floor plan measured to scale.  Pics off the internet you like ect. This is to vague for any real help to be given.  (Just trying to help).

I would get a larger rug so that the front feet of all the furniture is on it. A colorful flat weave rug to tie in all the colors of furniture would give the room a boho vibe. I would gather all the small art and photos and hang them gallery style elsewhere. The empty space below your component shelf doesn’t look quite right. I might try to find two very shallow baskets to fill that space. One colorful piece of pottery in each of the cubbies to enhance the boho look. Place a large piece of art you love above the couch, and choose the palest color in it for your walls.

We agree. Measurements of the room I really important. I hand-drawn sketch including the windows and door openings measurements will help a lot, that is true. Are you interested in a new layout or will you be replacing any of the furniture? Also how many people Use the room daily and how many guests do you want to accommodate.
