Help - My AC is drying me out.

Our house AC is drying my nose and throat out, sometimes making me wake up with headaches. I need it to be cold to sleep best in the summer but the AC seems to be drying me out. I even have a humidifier on my nightstand but I’m still getting dried out. Any suggestions? Thx!

What is the temperature and humidity level in the bedroom? Where are you located and what is the outdoor temperature and humidity level?

I wrestle with the same problem, but it's not attributable to my HVAC system; it's a consequence of my age and my mouth breathing when I sleep. You may get some relief from OTC treatments for dry mouth.

Colder temp settings of course makes the unit run more/longer, which removes more humidity/moisture from the air, thus increased dryness.
