I t looks like you just have a single bed is that right? Maybe a bit more info as to how you need to use this space for instance is this a room you are renting in a house or just your bedroom?

Yes, it’s a single bed! This is just my bedroom. I’m a uni student, so I’d love to have a desk. Originally wanted an armchair to read a book in, but it’s fine if it doesn’t fit in. My priority is the bed, desk, TV, and painting!

How about a nice cozy bed for two in the corner?

You can run the bed of the long exterior wall. Yes, the windows are centered, but no matter. Hang some art like this:

Consider lining up your bed and the pups bed along the solid wall and create a "headboard" to extend from the actual headboard of your bed all the way to the bottom right corner.

Add a workspace wall to wall, under the window, with cabinets and drawers under the countertop and a tall narrow bookcase to the ceiling at the angle.

I know you mentioned "no decoration suggestions", but I couldn't help myself. lol.

Happy I could help. All of the furniture is standard size, but when looking for a lounge chair, make sure it's not a big giant fluffy one, as it will overtake the room. A tailored recliner would be a good pick. I always find everything on craigslist for quality and price. It's worth the cost to have someone come in a professionally clean.

I love great big work surfaces, and it forces me to spread out my work and have it all in one place. I also like to be looking out a window, and not facing a wall, while working.

Consider doing that "headboard wall" even if it's just paint. Again, it forces you to hang art above the horizontal division.
