Home Decorating Design Dilemma Apartment

Help with my ackwood size room.

I have a studio apt that is 20ft x 10ft. On one long wall are windows very light with 10ft Ceilings the other wall has cutouts for closet bath and kitchen. I am placeing a twin bed and 2 nightstand on one wall .

My idea is to put wallpaper of oversize peonies flowers of pail pinks. Rose and cream colors.

I am a senior going in assisted living so I am not concerned with it being to feminine the other option is to have wallpaper with a black background that is very dramatic.i would appreciate your advice

We need to see pictures to be of any real help but I would not be bothering with wall paper and I would even question if it is allowed.

You may be able to use removable wallpaper. The two patterns you are suggesting have completely different atmospheres to them. Have an overall plan before you get or do anything. I put the giant flower wall paper in my guest room and everytime I walk in there I smile so IMO go for it . I would probably do the lighter of the two but it would be a good idea to post a floor plan or better yet pictures of your stuff and the space .

If you're using a twin bed, I'd recommend getting a daybed so it can double as a sofa. And yes! Definitely go for the bold wallpaper. The removable paper they make these days is beautiful.
