led lighting layout for tiered cabinets

I have a row of cabinets which are 30ft long with boxes at different heights(tiered?) and crown molding. Shoutouts I run the led just in the top and hide the lighting inside the cabinets when I go up the side or run the led along the side and over the crown molding. The is about a 6 inch height in the cabinets boxes where the cognate height. They are a mid/dark blue so I think it would pretty obvious that there are lights on the edges. But cutting into the cabinets seems excessive.
