I need advice on cleaning my carpet

I was decorating for Halloween and I use this museum gel to secure items

And I guess I dropped some on my carpet and I found it the next day completely stuck to the carpet and I can’t get it out. I’ve tried scrubbing, sprays, and vinegar but nothing is working. Any additional things I should try?
