Have you thought about painting? I like the celery/lime green which is current today. The rose pink is not working with the color of the fu rniture and flooring. It's a bit outdated and seems more conducive to maybe a bedroom or bathroom.

The rocker appears to be one that is usually used as patio rocker. If you are keeping it in this room, I would also paint the coffee table iron base - white.

I think I see blue or gray in the coffee table rug. If you are keeping the rug, I would maybe paint the lower walls light to midtone blue or gray color.

Maybe for the rocker, outdoor fabric. Sturdy, durable. On sale now and come in some beautiful color combinations.

Here's one with your current colors. The walls are beige and lime and pink are the accents. Nice fabrics here too.

Thanks. The rocking chair is an indoor one. No painting for the next years, having too much things to do in the other rooms. But the fabric of the rocker is really done and I just need ideas to go with what I already have. But thanks for your help.

What about painting the lower walls a warm creamy beige. Accent in your favorite colors.

In my opinion if that is new fabric on the rocker, It is not working with the room if you are not changing it. Sorry :)

Not sure to understand your question (I usually speak french) You're asking me what are my ideas? If so, I think it should have patterns so stains won't show. Not too dark because of the white frame. I would like to go with something that would make different of the rest of the room but I don't know what.

No, not asking you for ideas. You just said that the chair fabric is already new. Correct?

If you go too different for fabric and not with the other colors in the room, It will not blend and be cohesive to the rest of the items in the room.

LB - excuse me if I am interfering though I think you pretty much found your way to what she is asking - ethiema wants to put new fabric on her rocker and wants suggestions as to color, solid or patterns. She is using it indoors and that is the only thing she can change right now.

There are some great patterns out there with lime, gold/yellow, and with white. Not sure where this rocker is placed in the room and what the surroundings are.

Maybe a solid in the same green as the top of the wall is painted.

Yes, Ann I did mention the solid lime green too :) I'm thinking it's lime, but if it's slightly different, it doesn't have to match exactly. It's kind of a yellow lime green, I think.

Afterthought, I would get extra fabric and make some pillows for the brown sofa to go with. You maybe can mix and match with pattern and solid. If the rocker is viewed from the living room sofa.
