Frames are usually the expensive part of the art…I had a print of birds I just loved cost $150 for the print..the frame $750..but it is amazing in the space!

If you framed those 2 it would be $504 for both..should we be looking in a different price range?

How about sofa bed alternatives instead of a couch? It has advantages if some of your friends decide to stay. Also, it works well for small spaces.

As for me, I would definitely choose warm bright colors, but it's up to you.

I am a little late to see this but have to answer the couch color question. A tan or saddle leather sofa would look amazing with the dark green velvet chair. It is a tried and true, winning combination in any style as these attached pictures show. The contrast between smooth, reflective leather, the nubby velvet and chunky ivory rug are a texture sweet spot. The curtains should be considered after the paint. If you are sticking with the bright white i would add some pattern or color to add visual interest at the window. Good Luck!
