We had new carpet installed in our new house and used adhesive carpet protector on the main walking paths and steps. After removing the protectant withing a few day the carpet looked filthy. We noticed and sticky residue on the carpet beater brush. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how you cleaned the carpet? Is there a specific solution needed to get the adhesive off? Thank you!
