3500-4000K put on a dimmer. this way you can adjust. the higher temp light will give off less yellow and make reading easier. With the dimmer you can adjust the brightness level.

Also, get your eyes check for cataracts.

the higher, the brighter. temp should be above 3200 though. anything lower and it will be pretty yellow

get a few to try. you can always return them.

I have a lamp with no dimmer. I bought a Feit Smart Bulb. I am so pleased. It turns on and off and dims from an app on my phone. You are able to choose the temperature or choose one of 3 pre-set temperatures (soft white, cool white, or daylight). It does a lot of other things that I haven’t bothered with, such as turn on and off at pre-set times, turn different colors, etc.

I have mine connected to my Echo Dot, but that isn’t necessary.
