misting is useless .. it usually does nothing for the plant.. but if it makes you happy.. it usually doesnt do any harm ... basically.. you cant change the humidity on your house by spritzing a plant ... if humidity is a problem.. there are better ways to address the issue ... and frankly.. its is extremely uncommon to have a house so devoid of humidity.. that houseplant suffer ...

It's extremely common that during winter, the air in centrally heated homes which have no device(s) aimed at humidification, is drier than the air in the Sahara Desert; so low humidity during winter is a major problem for plants over a very large fraction of the US.

HU+digits - how deep is the pot the plant is in, and how do you determine when it's time to water? Is the plant under lights? if yes, what kind of lights and how close?

When leaf tips or margins abnormally curl/cup upward, it's usually an indication the plant is trying to retain moisture – most common causes are dry soils or high temps; or, if you are using supplemental lighting, the lights might be too close.

When leaf margins curl down, especially if leaves droop abnormally from the base of the leaf to the leaf tip, there is probably an issue affecting root function or health. The main causal suspects would be over-watering or soil compaction causing an inadequate supply of oxygen to roots, a root infection, or a TDS (fertility) level too high, which can limit water uptake.
