How m any locations does this occur? I am seeing maybe one or two and those are not awful. I would be inclined to leave well enough alone.

By the location, it looks like your cabinets and toilet will be over said tiles. Also you're probably going to have some kind of quarter round over the floor gap.

It's obvious right now but when everything gets in you won't even notice. We tend to hyperventilate when we're building a house. It's not bad.

The wide grout may be covered by base molding. They didn’t want to put a sliver of tile that would look worse.

The tiles have so much going on that no one will notice. If it wasn't for the arrows I would not have noticed.

When tiles are produced to resemble hand made cement tiles, you will have inconstancies in size and in the print. You should never expect a printed tile floor to resemble wallpaper, with perfect alignments. This is an expectation issue, not a tile professional issue. The rest of them appear to line up well and look good. I wouldn’t choose this hill.

It looks like the tiles are lined up properly at the grout lines; the mismatch is on the printed tile. What would you expect the tile layer to do?

You are very lucky if this is the worst "problem" you have in your new build!

Ask the builder if the gap between the last tile and the wall will be covered by a baseboard.

OP mentioned it is 2.5" gap, so I don't think it is going to be covered by the baseboard.

That is why I told the OP to ask. I have run into too many weird things in construction to assume one way or the other. At the very least it will bring up the issue that the baseboard and shoe molding is insufficient to cover the gap; OR that three inch thick baseboard looks clunky.

Is there a reason the shower isn't completed prior? Does the cabinet have legs like a piece of furniture showing the floor under?
