its not dark, it looks really nice. It frames the home. I think maybe look into painting the rest of the yellow and green, perhaps look at historic colors, Sherwin williams has an app I believe. I think the colors you have now are good colors but maybe there are too many shades of yellow and green?

Oh, thank you so much for your comment. The 2nd story window has always bothered me. The window installers chose the capping colour without consulting me and its literally buttercream yellow. The windows are a sandy taupe colour and I've always wanted the capping to match, will definitely be painting that! Thank you. What colour would you suggest to replace the green with? Thank you.
