Hello Martin, I am having difficulty to make new post, I made ttwo posts but they are not on 🤔 so I decided to continue with my post here.

My last post was about Black Bethlehem fig but since then I found out that it is not Black Bethlehem here are the pipictures

Anyway it's all good.

I was moving fig trees in garage today, most of them are on wheeled pallets, a few are still outside, planning to roll them in tomorrow but still want to hose them down with full pressure on hose hand sprayer, do you do that ? Or are you using soap and oil solution to kill bugs that want to o er winter on trees ? I appreciate your input.

thanks for posting pictures all fig plants have been in garage for a while now

To answer your question i have never used anything on the fig plants to kill bugs as never seemed to have a bug problem.

Other than some years back when plants were ripening the figs it was the year of the yellow jackets never saw them that bad i hosed the heck out of them and they fell to ground and then danced on them !

I hose them off with hose pressure and let them dry before I move them in unheated

garage, garage is well installed.

I spray them with diluted Hydrogen peroxide or antibacterial detergent and oil solution or dust them with Diatomaceous earth powder I am scared of the fig bud mites.

All my figs are in garage as of yesterday, in ground fig bushes covered today, I wrapped each shoot with burlap pink insulation waight them to the ground covered with tar paper and on to thick cardboard. I wanted to pail it up with mulch, but couldn't buy what I wanted.

So far no snow but this weekend daily high temps are only going to be between 30 up to 40 as colder weather sets in for 10 day forecast.

Today it will be about 74 unusually warm.
