Need some BRILLIANT ideas!!!

11 years! I’ve not been able to figure out what I want to do with this bump out nook in our kitchen. I’ve had a 60” round pedestals with 6 oversized chairs ( too big), the two high-back easy chairs with ottoman and small sideboard and now have the 6’ (40” wide) rectangular, expanding table with 6 chairs - none of these configurations have worked.
WAVING THE WHITE FLAG! Please let me know what YOU would do and send photos along with your opinion. Ideally the configuration will have the capacity to seat 8, be super comfortable, and a bit eclectic. not ruling out anything - banquettes, upholstered benches (remember the comfy requirement). The dimensions are:

Back wall 106”
Left facing windowless side wall 95”
Right facing side wall w/ windows 98”
28” from back wall to window casing
Window casing is 23” up from floor

I’m enamored by James + James tables - can’t decide shape, leg style or stain/paint. Cabinets are espresso and antiqued ivory, the samples from James+ James are charred ember, paired ivory and tuscany. Thoughts on painted legs with charred ember table top?

The width of the room is 106". If the table is 30" wide and is placed lengthwise, then the width of the seating with people is 66". That leaves 20" on each side behind the chairs to get in and out. That seems like enough room.

You could get a 7'6" table with 4 chairs on each side and the table pushed up against the mirror wall. There's your seating for 8.

The minimum clearance between dining table and wall is 30". A 30" wide table leaves 38" clearance, a 36" wide table leaves 35" in a 106" room.

I would like an oval table here. Ease of getting in and out are my priority. I'd hate to think of feeling like I am boxed in and it's dificult to get out.

Why does it need to seat 8? Is there not a separate dining room? A small space like that works well as a coffee house type seating area with a sofa and chair and a nice low table.

I need more info and for sure the amount of seating needed on a daily basis.. IMO if you have a DR nearby then I would do a coffee house type seating for a nice cup of coffee or glass of wine while cooking and visiting with a friend. Please before doing anything change that horrible builder looking chandelier to one that actually lights the space not the ceiling . Lower the art work and get rid of the twon things on either side of the mirror which BTW is not reflecting anything worth seeing twice .
