Desperately seeking classic scent, any tips or advice?

I am seeking that ”clean” laundry scent but it seems the classics like Tide and Bouncr no longer smell loke they used to. Anything out there that still has the old school, classic laundry smell?

Sadly, not really. Many hours have been spent in this laundry room forum lamenting the loss of what you are looking for. The last in production I can remember was ALL powder (not the free and clear), but this too is no longer available. I have two boxes saved in my linen closet for future use. Will be opening one soon...

However, Grab Green makes powder and pods that smell nice in the lavender scent (haven't tried the other scents). Cleans pretty well too. Not exactly what you are looking for, but it's nice, considering what your choices are today.

Arm & Hammer OxiClean Fresh Scent has a very classic clean smell.

Sea sea I’ve read a lot of your old posts before starting this one i was hoping something new might have come on the market. I used unscented/free and gentle products for a long time but recently been nostalgic for that clean laundry smell.

In a world where there are ”scent boosters” in the laundry aisle its frustrating they don’t make a proper old school one.

Even the perfumes of today are stinky and heavy. I'll get an Ulta catalog in the mail with the perfume cards and they all smell the same. Blahhhh

I actually just bought a box of Cheer powder today. It is still lightly scented and smells very good. Might be worth a shot.
