I’d ignore the wall seams and that the bed isn’t centered completely … and would hang a piece of art over the bed as you normally would.

Re: the lamp, so many possibilities! What is your budget? What styles do you like? I can envision something vintage/cottage style, or a funky mod style, etc.

Are you planning a rug for in there?

You have the accent wall, which looks like a great color, and the headboard is distinctive. So I don’t think you really need more decor on the wall. But if you really want something there, as one idea, maybe some type of wall hanging/tapestry.
