You dont want liquid coming out of you worm bin. The liquid is anearobic, meaning no air and can also have lots of bacteria from unprocced materials. There is a lot of misinformation on this subject. If you have a lot of liquid add more dry material, enough for a drop of two of liqud when squeezed pretty hard, make sure there arent any worms in hand when squeezing. Some people have good luck with the liquid but its not worth the risk IMHO. Hope that helps you out. Good luck!

B Warkentin is correct. Drainage from a bin is not good, despite all the "worm tea" foolishness you hear from worm bin manufacturers. The water dripping from a worm bin is leachate, which generally spoils faster than you can collect it. It is, essentially, a sign of too much moisture. One of the biggest complaints with tiered worm bins is that the lower bins get too damp. This is the natural result of drainage from overly damp upper bins compounded by too little aeration. Speaking as someone who has overcome these issues, if advise you to: 1. buy a system where bins don't drain into each other; 2. add food scraps sparingly until you get used to how much food the worms can handle - burying the food under the bedding when you do; 3. keep your moisture around 80% by adding shredded cardboard. 4. mix up the bedding & food scraps every few weeks to make sure dampness isn't collecting in the corners.
