what is Ptb and Png? Did you try posting in the comments? Maybe a glitch like the inability to post pics in the OP?

PTB - Powers That Be

PNG - Persona Non Grata

101 WOW a link to a bio would be worth a look.

Ah - it must be Furlow Gatewood.

And perhaps this is the reference - we'll see if it lasts.

It is petty, bb. We can’t post Z-ill-ow links anymore, either. Houzz holds a heckuva grudge.

Meanwhile, they allow certain pros to browbeat and harangue people on a daily basis.

Sorry, I meant to come back and post links and an explanation after at least one person had commented…but I fell asleep.

Tere, you got my abbreviations!

Marie_Cate, you unraveled the rest!

I also had this link in the post-that-never-was …. https://www.veranda.com/decorating-ideas/house-tours/a35015371/furlow-gatewood-georgia-house-tour/

I find some of Gatewood’s designs a bit over the top for me, such as this dining room

But I like the sunroom, below.

I am not one who is in the know about various decorators and these names, so I am thankful I stumbled on this post. I do remember Laurel maybe from some paint color blogs I had researched back a few years ago.

Wow! What beautiful rooms. I could not live there, but I would so enjoy being there and soaking it all up in my eyes to remember later. The detailing is just beautiful. I will be browsing those photos more and more.

The detail on that door in the first picture of the entry way is just magnificent.

Do NOT show mtn this painted floor! OMever-lovinG that is stunning.

That painted floor is pretty nice! But...that mirror.....Oh My! Grey and white is still a dominate color scheme in this years Home Builders Assoc Home Show. Painting an old style mirror grey...instead of traditional gold...nice! I like the pillows too.....just so cozy.

@maddielee, I see that you finally saw my original post about the death of Furlow Gatewood. Thanks! I deleted it to keep down confusion. This post contains all of the links that were in that post.
