Since your deadline is very near, Id' advice you not to aim to make your bathrooms and living room feel alike - simply pick bright and warm color schemes that are easy on the eyes for both. Your ideas for the kitchen are very spot-on IMO, and I'm assuming the "island with cutouts" part is referring to having leg space carved into the island - which is a must.

I notice that your main worry is to have the kitchen and the living room match since they're within eyesight of each other, so that's the first thing you should focus on now, before moving to the next item on your list.

So, even with a pressing deadline, you should tick one box at a time as to not to feel spread too thin :)

ONE floor throughout the entire area/house, except for the bathrooms, those put tile.

You have no unifying theme; instead, you have a jumble of colors, styles, and textures. Literally a jumble.

Hire a new designer. It seems you feel uncomfortable in the designing arena and you need assistance. Let me guess - are you in a professional field such as medicine, engineering, computer science? No worries - you just need to find someone to assist you that has skills you don’t.

I think by cutouts the OP means shaker style recessed panel.

Any further design decisions should be:

• White paint-everywhere
• Neutral fabrics- in drapes, upholstery, and area rugs
• Wood floors

First of all, as mentioned, forget trying to tie the bathrooms into the overall design, they are too design specific.

Second of all do not add any more wall treatments such as the concrete, brick, wallpaper or wood.

Again, as mentioned there are so many patterns, colors and textures that everything from here on out needs to be simplified.

The floor plan is nice, I like the niche used as a reading nook with bookshelves (inside the niche-not that big unit), armchair and reading lamp.

Paint everything, everything, a neutral off-white, like Swiss Coffee, which works in all light conditions. Use neutral fabrics in your carpets, drapes and area rugs. If you want more color, add accent colors in throws and throw pillows, art, and kitchen accessories

Any more floor coverings added need to be wood floors.

P.S. I'm unclear at what work stage you are in and what you mean by finishing works. Please post photos of the actual space as it is right now.

I second all this, it's the best route to take right now!

I think I understand why the designer walked . This is aj umble with no direction at all. If you hire a designer you need to at least listen when they talk to you about things like all one floor the lighting all the same .Now you want help here but you show pics of stuff not in your space . Show us your spaces as they are right now.

I didn't realize that no work had been done yet. I still think you need to simplify. Light toned wood floors throughout the entire house. Swiss Coffee walls in common areas. I like the rendering with the green drapes inside the recessed coutout. Love the Olive Green drapes.

I like the rendering of the bookshelf and easel in the niche.

I love the blue kitchen but afraid I would tire of it and want a change after a while. Go with white cabs and add accent colors in kitchen accessories.

In the bathrooms pale beige tile floors with matching grout and white tile showers/tubs walls with matching grout. White paint.

Bedrooms wood floors and paint color of choice for walls. Ben Moore Healing Aloe for example as cool tones or Pale beige or greige as warm tones.

Hire a competent designer. Maybe your first ghosted you because you are ALL over the place! Your taste is rather outdated too so be prepared to have an open mind.
